Welcome back, class!
Since this week is short, we'll see a new topic and revise some old topics too. We're focusing on completing your material.
First, NEW TOPIC, adverbs of frequency:
Adverbs of frequency are time expressions like ALWAYS (100%), OFTEN (70%), SOMETIMES (50%) and NEVER (0%); that indicate the frequency of an action.
This is the order:
Always - I always eat
Often - I often go to school
Sometimes - I sometimes go shopping
Never I never eat dog's food.
THE POSITION:
Between the Subject (I, you, they, he) and the verb (eat, sleep, watch)
I → NEVER → EAT dog's food.
* Exception: adverbs of frequency go AFTER the verb to be (is, are, am, was, were)
I am sometimes late for school
Second topic: WH- question words:
This are the different words used to make questions:
Who 👨 (person)
What 💩 (thing)
Where 🏫 (place)
When ⏰ (time)
How often 🏃💨 (frequency)
Okay, now you're ready to access the document below ⇓
