Today we are going to remember the use of the conjunctions because and so.

The conjunctions are words that are used to link different ideas.

• SO: (asi que)

Utilizamos so para indicar la consecuencia de una acción (o estado). Veamos un ejemplo:

I was tired so I went to bed. (Estaba cansado asi que me fui a la cama)

I wanted to pass the exam so I studied hard. (Quería aprobar el examen asi que estudié mucho)

• BECAUSE: (porque)

Utilizamos because para indicar la causa de una acción o estado. Por ejemplo:

I went to bed because I was tired. (Me fui a la cama porque estaba cansado)

I studied hard because I wanted to pass the exam. (Estudié mucho porque quería aprobar el examen)
